Call for Volunteers
We are keen to hear from anyone who can offer their time as a volunteer for the actual weekend of Saltaire Arts Trail. There are numerous areas to be covered; setting up in all areas, exhibition invigilation, Open House, Makers Fair, first aiders, photographers, manning of information points, man (or woman) with van, liaising with general public - the list goes on! So if you are available over the period 24th to 27th May and would like to be involved in the setting up and running of Saltaire Arts Trail please let us know your availability and areas you would like to be stationed.
Volunteer Coordinator
One important role we need to fill for the weekend is that of Volunteer Coordinator, basically this would involve the following:-
- helping with recruitment for people in various areas e.g. setting up, first aiders, invigilating etc etc
- working out a schedule of who goes where
- making sure those people are in place at the relevant place and time
- acting as a central point for payment of expenses - travel etc. and dealing with any problems.
Back up and support would be provided throughout so if any of you are interested in taking on this role or would like to know more please let us know.
