Coordinator - Makers Fair Festival Special

Saltaire Inspired is looking for a Lead Coordinator to deliver the Makers’ Fair Festival Special on the 14th & 15th September 2013.
The Makers’ Fair Festival Special is a two event organised by Saltaire Inspired (organisers of the Saltaire Arts Trail in May) as part of the Saltaire Festival.
We are looking for someone who can coordinate the event in line with Saltaire Inspired’s delivery plan and budget. Responsibilities also include: managing your team of volunteers, liaising with our various partners and organisations, and carry out any and all activities that may be necessary before, during and after the event.
This will be a fixed term, freelance contract, with the successful candidate ideally beginning in early-June and terminating in late-September, although we are willing to be flexible for the right person. The successful candidate will be expected to work hours as appropriate to ensure effective delivery, anticipated to vary during the course of the contract but average 10 hours per week. This role will include evening and weekend work.
The position is self-employed, and the person appointed will acknowledge that (s)he is responsible for his/her own taxes, and that no employment rights will derive from the contract.
Contract Fee
£1000 for the agreed fixed period.
