| Open Exhibition
The Open Exhibition includes work by a wide variety of talented artists from across the Yorkshire region. With global environmental and social concerns becoming ever more prevalent, this year all artwork will be themed around Planet Earth to coincide with the UNESCO International Year of Planet Earth Project (www.yearofplanetearth.org). The International Year of Planet Earth Project aims to ensure greater and more effective use by society of the knowledge accumulated by the world’s 400,000 Earth scientists. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place by our judging panel. In the 2007 Open Exhibition, Robert Hope took first place with David Questa taking second place and Clare Caulfield taking third place. Works exhibited in the Open Exhibition will be for sale, and considering the wonderful diversity of artistic talent we have throughout Yorkshire, this exhibition is not something you can afford to miss. |
