Children's Open Houses
This year two of our Open Houses have been specifically designated for young people. Each is unique, read on to find out more...

14 Dove Street
This Children’s Open House is designed to be interactive, tactile and child-friendly where young people can discover and explore the artwork on display. The Arts Trail asked exhibitors to create pieces that can be touched, stroked, poked and picked up. By taking inspiration from traditional tales, the house is a magical delight to adults and children alike. Wander through each room of this little house on Dove Street, let your imagination run free and discover hidden gems behind closed doors.

2 Harold Place
Harold, grandson of Titus Salt Sr, and son of Titus Salt Jr, was the last member of the Salt dynasty to have a street named after him. Pupils studying art for ‘A’ Level at Bradford Grammar School have invaded Saltaire for the duration of the Arts Trail and have set up camp here in this house. Also in the house will be photographs inspired by colour, which focus on that something that’s a little bit different, something that catches the eye. See if you can spot the next David Hockney. Come and find out what the next generation of artists are up to.
