My work is informed by my observations influenced by the natural environment, water and rock formations.

I am enthused by the movement of water and the emerging patterns and organic shapes made on the water's surface. Inspired by an assembly of 'bubbles and ripples', I have captured these elements in my designs and have focused on organic contours. Proportion, connection, repetition and surface texture are integral to my designs, resulting in contemporary link design jewellery.

My fascination of rock formations and natural irregular outlines have allowed some designs to develop instinctively. I am interested in the composition and arrangement of links and the relationship of natural coloured stones influenced by rocks, landscapes and water.

The aesthetic use of bold colours is deliberate to express the growth and patterns of lichen found on rocks close to rock pools. The eclectic mix of silver and designed laser cut acrylic discs in my work reflects the imagery of the subject.

My jewellery is hand fabricated and expressed in silver, oxidised silver with accents of gemstones, fresh water pearls and acrylic discs. A combination of metal work and bead work techniques are used to create wearable elements of nature.
