Originally I trained in stage design at Leeds University Bretton Hall, graduating in 2007. Since graduating I have expanded my skills base to include papermaking and jewelly design.
I took up jewelly design last year drawing a lot of inspiration from vintage style jewellery and lace as well as paper craft especially origami.
As a self taught jewellery designer many of the pieces that I have created are a result of experimentation using mixed media such as textile, beads, feathers and chain work.
This year I have expanded my range to include more recycled materials in my textile based pieces
The collection I have created has a diverse range of pieces from feather pendants to origami hair clips the jewellery range includes a range of fascinators as well as standard jewellery. Each piece mixes new and recycled materials and is therefore unique. |
